Douro, por dentro
São Leonardo de Galafura early in the morning, Casal de Loivos at the end of the day — the low light sets the terraces alight and the river turns to glass. And we avoid the coach hours.
It depends on the wine and the time you have: the historic houses near Pinhão for classic tastings; the small growers of São João da Pesqueira for conversations at the table. We book in your name.
From estate menus with the house wines to the roadside tascas that never make the guides — we’ll tell you where to eat well at the right distance from your route.
